Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association, a physician-led 501(c)(3) organization, designs and provides independent education for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses,
and other health care professionals. Now in its 95th year, IPMA excels at managing the following steps in the educational process:

Founded in 1916, Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association has been guided by some of medicine's great teachers, including Dr. William J. Mayo, Dr. Charles H. Mayo, and Dr. Alton Ochsner. Our diverse educational offerings include comprehensive needs assessments that identify learner gaps and educational needs; an annual Primary Care Update conference that delivers practical, clinically focused education; and cutting-edge performance improvement initiatives that incorporate selfdirected learning to advance clinical practice. IPMA is proud to hold accreditation with commendation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
