Through ASCENT, you will assess your own leadership skills and create your personal development path. Your peer group and other physician leaders will provide resources and feedback so that you can effectively lead your organization through change.
Your organization’s current performance will establish the benchmarks for tracking throughout the year. Curriculum will focus on business performance including value-based payment, risk, cultural transformation, quality, patient outcomes, data and technology. ASCENT is designed to build your skills to lead healthcare into the future.
This reimagined leadership program combines the best in education with a proven peer-group structure. Groups of 7 to 10 physicians will grow together as they tackle today’s challenges. Three live meetings per year, each 2 days in length and periodic check ins will challenge, excite and support your path forward.
ASCENT peer groups will be limited to the first 20 qualified applicants. This leadership experience has been developed by Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association, a physician-led not for profit organization, in consultation with leadership development experts and healthcare executives.
