Needs Assessment

Continuing Medical Education is transitioning from a knowledge-based delivery of data to a systems-based approach that addresses individual physician gaps in knowledge, skills and attitudes within the physician practice environment. Empowered by the ACGME competencies focusing on patient care, practice-based learning and improvement, communication and systems-based change, the CME community can work together to implement these changes in how medical education is delivered.

The needs assessments published on this website represent collaborative efforts between CME stakeholders including Academic Medical Centers, needs assessment and outcomes companies and educational associations. Please use these resources within your educational activities.
