Target Learners
This activity was designed for Obstetrics/Gynecology physicians and other physicians with interest in treatment of female pelvic medicine and incontinence.

Course Overview
This case-based activity will focus on the management of OAB/urge incontinence in situations in which other medical or urogynecologic problems complicate evaluation and treatment. Faculty have incorporated evidence-based approaches and latest therapies in their case presentation. Experts will present and discuss the "pros and cons" of treatment options.

Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Compare Botulinum Toxin Type A and sacral neuromodulation treatment options for refractory urge incontinence
  • Determine current management options for mixed incontinence patients and patients with concomitant urinary retention and urge incontinence
  • Assess the complexities of treating older patients with urge incontinence in which there are multiple functional issues and significant pharmacologic interactions
